Leveling Kit vs Lift Kit

Lift kits and leveling kits are two of the most popular aftermarket add-ons, from Jeeps to SUVs, to pick up trucks. Both kits offer improved off-road performance while giving your vehicle a new look, but what is the difference between the two? If you own a mid to large-sized vehicle, you’ve probably noticed the rear end can sit a little higher than the front end. Because they are made to carry heavier loads, the back end has additional height to avoid sagging once it’s loaded. There’s no harm in the difference, but it isn’t the most visually appealing when there is no load to even it out. A leveling kit matches the front end to the back end height.
